ent Division Tuesday reshuffled the federal bureaucracy, removing officials posted by the previous regime on key posts.

aced are the heads of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Intelligence Bureau (IB) and the National Counter-Terrorism Authority (NACTA).

ice officer who was appointed to the post by caretaker government in June this year. D
r Suleman was currently serving as NACTA national coordinator at the Ministry of Interior. Before NACTA stint, he was serving as DG IB and was appointed by former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in the last week of May this year. He has also served in FIA and played key role in establishing the counter-terrorism department in KP province, due to which he came close to the PTI leadership.

Board of Investment Secretary Jehanzeb Khan has been transferred and posted as FBR chairman. He belongs to Pakistan Administrative Service and is in grade 22. He faces the challenging task of revamping the FBR in order to eradicate corruption from the organization.
