JACOBABAD: Police claimed to have foiled a major terror bid to target Kushal Khan Khattak Express and apprehended the terrorist while planting the bomb on the railway track in Jacobabad.
On a tip-off
, the SHO Belo Bhagwar of a section police station along with heavy contingent of police nabbed an alleged terrorist, son of
Meero Banglani while planting bomb on railway track near Atal Mor in Jacoabad area on Thursday besides seizing
explosives from his possession.
The police also recovered three kilogrammes of
explosives, IED device, wires, Ball Bearing and other bomb related equipmen
t from him.
According to s
ources, the terrorist wanted to target Khushal Khan Khattak Express.
Kushal Khan Khattak Express was targeted six times in the past at Thal District.
